Ugly sweaters may be intentional or accidental. In either case, you may as well have some fun with them and they could win prizes!
There are 2 Categories:
A: OOPS
This category is open to all show and tell items, images, or stories about your errors in knitting. Whether in sizing, misread patterns, dropped or added stitches, extra sleeves or who knows what, we’ve all made mistakes, so lets celebrate and laugh about them!
B: UGLY SWEATER
This category is for the awful, the silly, the over-the-top, the hideous and the ridiculous. Whether unintentionally ugly, or made ugly and worn with pride. Maybe a traditional “ugly Christmas sweater” or something passed down from Aunt Mabel, this category requires a show and tell item to enter. Images and stories are welcomed too, but will not be included in the judging.
To enter, bring your items to the December 16th meeting. If you would like images of your entry on the big screen, please email them by December 9, 2015 to programme@torontoknittersguild.
This is a personal best contest. Those who participate are given a ticket and numbers are drawn for a selection of prizes. Ugly items can be displayed at the Frolic at participant’s discretion.
