Promotion of Events, Promotions & Pattern Releases
If you have a pattern release, event or promotion that you’d like the TKG to share with its membership, please send your request via email to our Content Coordinator and Newsletter Editor at editors@torontoknittersguild.ca, being sure to include the following information:
- Type of promotion (event, KAL, pattern release or sale)
- Name of event/pattern/sale
- Time and Date(s) for events/sales
- Full location/address for in-person events or website URL for virtual ones
- Full description that can be used as copy for our newsletter and/or social media posts
- Website, Instagram or Ravelry links relevant to the promotion that you’d like us to include
- Cost, if applicable
- In return for promoting the event/sale, is there a draw prize or ticket discount or other benefit for TKG members on offer? If so, please include all details.
Please note that the TKG reserves the right to decide what to promote in our newsletters and on our social media. Please provide details well in advance to allow us time to prepare – this is particularly important if you’d like an item included in our newsletter.
