October Meeting Recap
The November Meeting was a lovely cozy chat with Fiona Stevenson, Knitwear Designer and Rose Tinapay, Indie Dyer of Akara Yarns.

Rose and Fiona shared about their friendship and how it interweaves with their work as yarn dyer and knitwear designer, respectively. Despite some technical issues, they soldiered on and gave a behind the scenes look at the development of some fantastic patterns for local fauna, like the beaver and owl knitting patterns.

Call to Members: Spin Us A Yarn

During this time of separation, we would like to hear from YOU and stay connected with each other as Guild members.

Do you have a yarn-related story to share, perhaps about a particularly memorable year at Rhinebeck, or about a special friendship formed through knitting? A favourite technique you think other Members should know about, or a hilarious knitting disaster story? Please submit your stories in 300 words or less to info@torontoknittersguild.ca with the subject line Spin Us a Yarn.

The first post in now live on our members-only hub, by Content Coordinator Hannah Phoenix:

"Tammy White is a shepherdess, natural dyer, farmer, and all around Excellent Human Being, as well as the owner of Wing and a Prayer Farm in Shaftsbury, Vermont. Each year she also runs the New England Fiber Arts Summit, which I was lucky enough to attend at the end of August, 2019." Keep reading at this link.
