The Toronto Knitters Guild meets monthly in downtown Toronto in the University of Toronto area. The members are inter-generational, come from a wide variety of backgrounds and bring a range of knitting skills from novice to master knitter.

Monthly meetings
Free admission to lively meetings with fabulous speakers. Check out our UPCOMING MEETINGS
There are 10 meetings annually (September to June) with guest speakers. Non-member admission is $8 per meeting.
LYS Discounts
Many of Toronto’s finest yarn stores offer discounts on regularly priced yarn to TKG members on presentation of membership card.
Show off your latest project and see what others are knitting
Meetings start with Show and Tell, an opportunity for members of all skill levels show off their latest “finished objects” to inspire each other with creativity.
Help with a challenging project
Dr. Knit (aka Denise Powell) is there for you. She can cure any knitting disease.
Learn and get inspired!
There is lots of inspiration at the TKG – from speakers and from other members. And if you want to perfect or learn new techniques there is no better place.

Purchase membership through the website
When you purchase online through our secure payment service, your membership card will be ready for pick-up at the next meeting. Payment can be made via PayPal. This allows you to use your credit card or your PayPal balance. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account.
Purchase membership at a meeting
If you prefer to pay by cash or cheque (payable to the Toronto Knitters Guild), you can purchase membership at a meeting. Your membership will be effective immediately.

Non-member single meeting admission: $8
All meetings, events and workshops are governed by the TKG’s Rules of Conduct. Members are asked to read and understand these rules.
