Message from the President

Happy New Year, and may your resolutions come true this year.

My new years resolution for 2016 was to spread the power of positivity to those around me. I certainly had a wonderful year, and this year I plan to be the best me I can be.

The Guild is growing strong, and we have a wonderful team of dedicated people who love knitting, and it shows. Thank you all for making this the most wonderful position I have ever held.

Knittingly yours,

Debra Rowland, TKG President

Our December Social and Ugly sweater contest was a great success! It was great to see everyone chatting and enjoying some treats.

Thank you to Signature Yarns for all the discounted lovelies, the donations to the monthly raffle and the prizes for Ugly Sweater contest!

We had a short Show 'N Tell with some beautiful items to help keep us warm in the cold months ahead. Thanks to Nelia, Patty, Greta, Sarah, Robin and Judi for sharing!!

January Meeting & 20th Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate our 20th Anniversary the TKG presents guild founding member Katherine Matthews! She will be lecturing on the history of Orenburg Lace. Katherine is the publisher of the Purl Diving line of knitting patterns available in Purl Diving Ravelry store.

We are so pleased to welcome Rae from Stix & Stones yarn boutique in North Bay as our January vendor. Rae will be bringing a wide selection from the store, which specializes in all natural yarns, fibers and knitting supplies with an emphasis on small Canadian indie dyers that are not available in many stores. She carries brands like Americo Original, Ancient Arts, Dragon Strings, Sweaterkits, Orange Octopus and Stony Lake. Every knitter is guaranteed to find something unique, interesting and one of a kind. Cash and credit cards accepted.
