DESCRIPTION:Inspiration from Colour to Design \nCanadian Knitwear Designer Fiona Stevenson and Indie Yarn Dyer Rose Tinapay of Akara Yarns will be discussing the sources of their inspiration. Rose will reveal what inspires her beautiful yarn colours and Fiona will in turn chat about how Rose’s colourways inspire her knitwear designs.  They will discuss the importance of inspiration in the creative process\, and where you can find your own sparks of creativity.  No doubt the conversation between these cheerful friends will spin off to include comments about fibre\, yarn\, designs\, and current projects.  We are in for a treat with Fiona and Rose\, so please join us for the fun! \nSpeaker:Fiona Stevenson & Rose Tinapay \nFiona Stevenson \nBio:\n“As a knitwear designer I take inspiration from my Scottish ancestry and my home\, Canada. I collaborate with Canadian hand dyers and yarn producers like Akara Yarns\, Fleece Artist Yarn & Handmaiden Fine Yarns\, Pretty Strings\, Gravity Fibres\, and Lake Knit Yarns.
