Raffle and Shopping
There is a raffle for yarn, books, and other goodies with proceeds towards guild activities. And often there is opportunity for shopping with a vendor on site offering yarn, notions or a member de-stash. Also a dollar table with assorted patterns, magazines or other items brought in by members.
Many of Toronto’s finest yarn stores offer discounts on regularly priced yarn and merchandise to TKG members on presentation of membership card.
SHOW + TELL
Show off your latest project and see what others are knitting. Meetings start with Show and Tell, an opportunity for all members to show off their latest finished objects to inspire each other with creativity.
Help with a challenging project
Dr. Knit (aka Denise Powell) or other experienced knitters are on site to offer assistance with your projects.
Learn and get inspired!
There is lots of inspiration at the TKG – from speakers and from other members. And if you want to perfect or learn new techniques there is no better place.
